My father, afraid of a colonoscopy, did at-home FIT tests. He's had 4 tests - all positive. Blames non-bleeding hemorrhoids. Could this be the cause?

Are you sure it is: from the hemorrhoids? GI bleeding from other causes tends to be very foul smelling. How much blood are you passing? I would suggest you see your primary doctor for evaluation.
