I have had a bladder infection and got prescribed trimethoprim can it affect my period as im trying for a baby tests say no but still no period?

UTI/bladder inf's?: Urinary tract symptoms or actual "UTI's" have no physiologic effect on menstrual function. Unlikely: A simple UTI (urinary urgency, frequency, burning, bladder pressure/discomfort) associated with an abnormal urinalysis and positive culture (if done) would be a very unlikely cause of a delayed/late period. No: A pregnancy test measures a hormone called human Chorionic Gonadotropin (hcg). Hcg is a hormone produced during pregnancy.
