Whole food vitamin : I like whole food vitamins that give you the equivalent of several servings of fruits and veggies. Good healthy foods should be presented with no ability to "place order" ( unless allergies ). Limit drinks as kids can fill up on milk and juice and not experience hunger. Good balance: 5-7 servings of fruits and vegetables a day. 3-5 ounces of lean meat, chicken or fish as protein, or eggs, or 1 cup of milk. Stick w/ whole foods: Microwaveable oatmeal is typically loaded with sugars. There is debate whether microwaving foods causes degradation of nutrients.
