Unlikely: At your age colon cancer is unlikely. The symptoms, however, need evaluation. Common conditions include infection (food borne Salmonella , entero viruses)food allergy/intolerance, (eg Lactaid deficiency gluten sensitivity etc etc) See a Gastroenterologist and get these symptoms evaluated but don;t think the WORST FIRST.....Be well and Hope this helps! NCI: It does not seem as though surgery is an option for you at this time. Body-wide treatment such as chemotherapy is going to be the preferred way to treat this. Seek care at a national cancer institute designated comprehensive cancer center. This will give you the best access to available clinical trials. There are none: As you are young, first consider your diet and try cutting out gluten (bread etc) and fatty meals (read food recipes on packages). Then discuss your family history for colon cancer with family members, and ask the age at which the person got colon cancer. There are families that get colon cancer in the under 30 age range.
