I take Paxil (paroxetine) and ativan for anxiety. Lately my legs are weak with alot of tiny bruises in inner thighs. CBC cmp CT scan thyroid EKG all normal?
Need to examine: It is not feasible to comment on the bruises without examining those. However, you weakness is likely a part of your depression/anxiety. It will sound counter-intuitive, but exercising will relieve both depression and weakness. Start with walking and increase the distance and rigor as tolerated. ...Read more

Perhaps: In my experience, one of the most common causes of memory issues are the anticholinergic adverse effects of multiple medications. Since Ativan (lorazepam) has this potential, you may have pinpointed the culprit. Work closely with your doctor, as getting off could be problematic if done too rapidly. ...Read more
MCV?: Mean corpuscular volume (MCV) measures red blood cell (rbc) size. Low MCV means the cell is smaller than expected. This happens in some inherited conditions like thalassemia minor (rarely causes any problem except small rbcs). Or it can happen when there isn't enough iron in the diet. If the other parts of the CBC are normal, it's more likely the 1st answer. Ask his doc to explain further. ...Read more

Inverted t wave in lead 3. Normal chemistry/cbc. Next day t-waves were normal (upwards) causes for this?
Questionable: Inverted t waves in any one lead are of rather questionable value. If you do not have any symptoms such as chest pains, sob, sweating without a reason, nausea or vomiting, I would not worry about it too much. ...Read more

Can't be sure: You would have to know the dosage of each medication, how often the meds were taken per day, as well as when they are taken in order to anticipate if withdrawal symptoms would be expected to occur. Even then you couldn't be certain that withdrawal symptoms would occur. Discuss with your doctor why you are taking the meds and what is the overall plan. ...Read more

Zoloft (sertraline)- from 100 to 150mg Ativan-.5mg Could a change in my dosage of Zoloft (sertraline) affect how Ativan effects me? I was VERY addled the last time I took it.
I understand your concern. Zoloft (sertraline) is a medication for depression and anxiety.
Ativan is a medication for anxiety.
Ask yourself for reasons to take 2 medications for anxiety; and for increase of dose of Zoloft (sertraline) to 150mg/day which is a high dose.
Using Ativan together with Zoloft (sertraline) may increase dizziness, difficulty concentrating and confusion.
