Probably: Low platelet count due to Effient is not common but bleeding risk is increased with platelet count at that level + efffient and aspirin. Usually drugs like Effient or Plavix (clopidogrel) are recommednded for one year for patients with drug eluting stents to help prevent clotting of the stent. I am not sure: Which numbers go with what in your question. A HGB of 11 g/dl would be low for a male. Iron deficiency is also associated with thrombocytosis, but would be an usual diagnosis in a young male. Need more info here. ...Read more
