Not deadly..: This is a skin condition where sebaceous glands are encapsulated inside multiple cysts and can run in families as a hereditary condition. These lesions are not deadly but can cause cosmetic damage. Usually creams do not help much but instead removing or aspiration(of the inflamed ones) is the treatment of choice. If you already: If you already have joint damage, you will need to go on Methotrexate and probably a biologic if you are candidate for it. The combination of two can halt progression of the disease.
