Im scared that I have appendicitis and i want to know the symtoms? I was on the phone about 10 something then i just got an urgent pain in my belly button not under it then i had pain on the left side like above my hip but not in the lower quardrant

Your: Appendix is on the right although a very long appendix can stretch to the left side. Interestingly diverticulitis occurs on the left side and was known as left sided appendicitis as the symptoms were the same as appendicitis but on the left side. Get medical Ckup: Any abdominal pain if it persists beyond a few hours is of serious concern especially if it is associated with nausea/vomiting or fever. If the pain is persistent and severe, you should head to the ER to find out the cause. Unlikely.: It is difficult to assess abdominal pain with the few details that we have in your short question. However, as a generalization, appendicitis usually occurs in the right lower quadrant or mid abdomen, not usually on the left.
