Hyponasal speech...: Can be due to nasal and sinus congestion. Swelling inside the nose due to the common cold or allergies or even a sinus infection can lead to less air flow through the nose resulting in a nasal voice (hyponasal) as if you're speaking while holding your nose shut. Sinus pressure can also be due some of the above causes, so yes you may have both symptoms as a result of nasal congestion.
What can cause intense sinus pressure for 2 days following #13 tooth removal on that side then gradually fade away?
Infection: Or inflammation of the tooth socket or a low grade sinus infection.
I have severe sinus pressure with very little congestion, usual remedies aren't helping. Mucus is thick & sticky, waking with rheum, what could cause?
Probably not: Sinus pressure and infection can cause a pressure sensation behind the eyes (and rarely orbital infection), but it should not cause visual symptoms. "strobe light flashes" are more likely a retinal or optic nerve symptom, or possibly a migraine symptom. People with symptom of flashing should have an eye exam to rule out retinal problems.See 1 more doctor answer
I can't smell and taste. My taste comes back for a second and then goes away again. I have sinus pressure but not clogged sinuses. Possible causes?
Sinus issues: Some of the more common causes of loss of taste and smell are tobacco use, pollutants, the common cold or chronic sinus problems, allergies, medications like antibiotics and blood pressure medicines, tooth and gum diseases. In your case it's most likely due to your sinuses issues. None of the meds you're taking are known for doing it. Your primary care doc can help you with thisSee 1 more doctor answer
Of course: A sinus infection can sometimes cause you to feel pain in your teeth, ears, and jaw. An upper toothache can often be the major symptom of sinus infection. See your PCP for evaluation, treatment or referral to an ENT.See 3 more doctor answers
What causes seeing stars going up and down the stairs? Also I have sinus pressure, post nasal drip
Many possibilities: You need to be seen and examined. Go and see your pcp and let them take a history, etc. If they think specialized care is necessary they will refer you. Good luck.See 1 more doctor answer
Possible: The complexity of the head and neck area never ceases to amaze me. The intimacy of the vessels, nerves and sinus and lymph chain of this area hold many surprises. Usually upper teeth are involved but it is possible, and it would be wise to have this type of symptom evaluated by your dentist to determine if it is dentally related. If it is not, then the next stop is your physician.See 2 more doctor answers

I have sinus pressure on left side of face, ear aches/head sometimes and have dried bloody boogers in left nostril at times. What is the cause of this?
MY ACHING HEAD: Sinuses are air-filled structures in our heads that warm & filter the air we breathe while decreasing the weight of our skull. When inflamed and filled with mucus, it is like having heavy, water balloons pressing on your face from the inside (ouch). Consider antihistamines (Cetrilizine) and/or decongestants (Pseudoephedrine). If not improving, consult me and we'll figure it out together.
