Can ovarian cysts cause persistent upper back ache and bone weakness / discomfort? I also have high ESR and very low ferritin, all other blood normal.

More than one issue: Simple ovarian cysts should not cause backache. Low ferritin represents iron deficiency and you may have low blood count. High ESR is usually associated with inflammation, infectious or non-infectious. You have enough symptoms to warrant a consultation with a physician. ...Read more

Can ovarian cysts effect blood sugar? I had one rupture recently and have been having high & low blood sugar issues for 2 weeks. Also on bcp's
