If however you have inflammation due to gerd, this can be progressive & needs to be controlled. It's a stretch: the only way I can relate acid reflux to weakness is if you've had chronic acid reflux that has caused esophagitis, which has led to blood loss and resulting anemia, causing you some fatigue.
