Unlikely: Preeclampsia, the state before eclampsia, which is seizures in pregnancy, is diagnosed as mild or severe. Mild depends soley on bp, greater than 140/90, or not pre-existing before 20 weeks, and proteinuria. Is a light cramp and stomach growling normal when taking proton pump inhibitors for acid reflux ?

No: This is either something else, or you didn't have reflux to begin with. I see a lot of patients who are put on ppis for upper abdominal pain, told they have reflux or an ulcer, and when the pain doesn't improve they finally get some tests and it turns out it was their gall bladder the whole time. Try eating pizza for dinner, then ice cream for dessert. If that brings on the pain, it's not reflux! ...Read more

I am 33 year old male, have had loose stools (not watery) for years. Stomach growling/gas/acid reflux/mild cramps, hemrroids. Is this colon cancer?

IBS: Symptoms of loose stools ; abdominal cramps in young adult male suggestive of irritable bowel syndrome. Intestinal cancer would be most unusual. Personally, i would be interested in history of extreme sports participation ; chronic low back pain, which I have found concommitent with these symptoms in young adult males. The symptoms suggest that a primary medical doctor evaluation is in order. ...Read more
