Feeling occasional pain in kidney. Used Accutane for 6 months. Blood test good for HCG and related. Never drank alcohol.?
Accutane: I doubt the pain is related to the Accutane. I would see your doctor, describe your symptoms and let the workup progress from there.
Achy pulling in lower back when I exhale for a few breathes when I do things such as lay down. Didn't happen until starting Accutane day 11. Serious?
Isotretinoin: Isotretinoin is a synthetic Vitamin A based medication used to treat nodular acne. It, however also may cause side effects, some serious. Any time a new medication is started and one starts to develop new symptoms which were not present prior to starting new medication, it is important to watch closely the symptoms. If this doesn't resolve or continues to worsen, discuss with your Dermatologist.
Does Accutane cause back problems? Tolerable lower back pains for 4 months now back feels stiff from moving boxes in apartment. 3rd box of accutane.
I have been on Accutane for 6 weeks on a dose of 1.5mg/kg and started getting lower back pain 2 weeks ago. Should I be worried and is it permanent?
Usually no.: Accutane is a very powerful medication with significant side effects including joint pain. Once you stop the accutane, the joint pains, in your case back pain, should slowly resolve back to your baseline. You should report any side effects, however, to your dermatologist who is managing your accutane.
With food: Absorption is better with food.Get a more detailed answer ›
Depends: Every one is different, dryness is dose related and usually peaks 3rd month.
What vitamines can I take during accutane? Any would help? C? E? I know you can't take a, but the others? Thank you xx
Is there a higher chance of relapse if you wear black hoodies/black t shirts while on accutane with sunscreen? I was on accutane for 9 months
I am on 80mg of Accutane a day in my 4th month and I haven't noticed much improvement and my skin isn't even dry. Is this normal in the 4th month?
Accutane, didn't miss dosage 1st month (30mg). Miss total six pills off/on throughout first 3 weeks of 2nd month (40 mg). Will this affect results?
No: Take with food for best result. Best results from taking each dose. The more doses you miss the more likely you will need to extend the total length of therapy. You do not give your weight. Probably you will soon be on 80mg a day. You will need to grease your lips.
A few times recently, I noticed blood on tissue after BM. I don't have pain, and don't see blood after that. Can accutane do this? What should I do?
Accutane: Increases sun sensitivity.Get a more detailed answer ›
Not necessarily: Depends upon dose but sometimes will continue to work for 6 months after last dose. Old lesions will not be resolved yet, should see a decrease of new lesions.
Is there any way to counteract the workings of accutane? I don't want to be doing anything wrong..
No antidote. Danger!: If you took Isotretinoin and you might be pregnant, you need to get with your personal physician and very likely have the pregnancy terminated. This is a very powerful medicine and if you took it illicitly, you made a terrible mistake. There's no magic antidote. If you took some illicitly and aren't pregnant, it's less of a problem. If it's prescribed, take it properly. Best wishes.
