Life is not exact...

Maybe, if a cycle is longer than 31 days. If a woman ovulates 2 weeks after the start of her last period, every cycle, then 3 weeks after the start of her last period would be too late to get pregnant. However, if she ovulates a few days later occasionally (maybe 2 weeks and 5 days) after the start of her period, then her egg may still be fertile at 21 days after her LMP. Days are estimates.

Is it possible to become pregnant without having a period? I am a 30 year old female that is trying to conceive but get disappointed all the time. I have a six year old son and I don't remember having a period when he was conceived. I didn't find out abou

If

If you have been trying to get pregnant for more than 6 months without any luck, then you should call your OB/Gyn to discuss - especially if you are not having a regular period. There are lots of other reasons besides pregnancy that can cause a woman to miss a period such as: stress, illness, diet, excessive exercise or a hormone imbalance such as with a thyroid disorder or polycystic ovarian syndrome. All of these things can also affect your ability to get pregnant. Give your doctor a call.

Fertility

This is not normal and it needs to be evaluated by a fertility or gynecology specialist. One of you might have a genetic (chromosome) problem. Your wife could have an abnormally shaped uterus or she may have other medical conditions which cause repeated early miscarriages. You both need to be checked.

Could be

I hope so! You should check a home pregnancy test. If it is positive, and/or if the pain continues/worsens and/or if you start bleeding, you should consider seeing your doctor for more testing (blood pregnancy/hormonal testing, possibly ultrasound). Dont ignore significant pain for too long, because rarely it could signal something worrisome, like a miscarriage or an ectopic pregnancy. Good luck!

Possible

It is possible to be pregnant and a pregnancy test can confirm that. You may also have an ovarian cyst, a fibroid, endometriosis, or pain related to your irregular periods. or the pain may not even be GYN related. So probably a good idea to check a pregnancy test and then see a GYN next.

Unlikely

It's unlikely that without penetration in the vagina a woman would become pregnant. Also, the fact that the woman was still bleeding, puts her at a time in her cycle when it is unlikely that she will get pregnant. And lastly, since there was no ejactulate, also unlikely. Thus, not zero, but very close to zero.

Not likely.

Check your day 3 FSH and consult with your gynecologist and/or reproductive endocrinologist infertility specialist. At your age the secondary amenorrhea you describe is highly suspicious for menopause - however "miracle" conceptions do occur albeit rarely at the extremes of reproductive life in an unpredictable fashion.
