Body temp & fluids: There is a website that provides signs of ovulation beyond counting days from an irregular period. It will teach how to evaluate your "wetness" and how to notice the sharp rise in your temperature just after you ovulate - that's the most fertile time! http://americanpregnancy.Org/gettingpregnant/signsovulation.Html good luck! ...Read more

My menstrual cycle comes at different times of the month. Can I ovulate shortly after my period? I think there is a possibility I may be pregnant.

Normal: There is some normal variation in cycle length and even regular cycles seldom start the same day each month since months vary in length. If in doubt, do a pregnancy test and repeat it in 3-5 days if it is negative. Hope this helps. ...Read more

When could you say you where through menopause? After not having a period for a full 12 months? Or is it longer?

Pretty much yes: Usually you start the perimenopause with missing every other period and then you might not have a period for a few months and then suddenly spot but if it's already been 12 months and no period, you're probably menopausal. However, if you're only 45 years, you are a bit young to go into menopause and might want to see your doctor for a hormonal check to confirm. ...Read more

Possibly: Early on in perimenopause, a woman may go back out of early menopause if her ovaries kick back into full function. And rarely, in this situation, women have become pregnant. Until you are certain, and your provider concurs, don't assume your fertility is a thing of the past if you have just started to have spaced out periods and rare hot flashes. You may go back and forth with fertility. Be safe! ...Read more
