Stress, genetics: Yes, all the above can cause hair loss. There are no proven studies where taking vitamins will help regrow hair, otherwise we'd all be taking vitamins and no one would be bald. Try over the counter topical spironolatone. Or see your doctor for a prescription of propecia (finasteride). (btw, I do not have any financial relationship with either of these medications).
