See remark: When and how did you have the injury ?to the urethra?? Of course the urethra is narrow and hence affects the stream. My daughter is 2 years and 10 months old. She has a small apical muscular vsd (3-4mm ) with left to right shunt. What is the treatment?

Follow-up: Such a small vsd is unlikely to be hemodynamically significant --> probably not enough of a connection to put any significant extra strain on the heart or lungs. It may still close on its own. Continued follow-up with a cardiologist will be important, as well as good dental hygiene to prevent infection, but it is unlikely to ever need any medication, intervention or activity restrictions. ...Read more
