FDA Category C: This substance is rated category c for pregnant women. Which means it is not advised unless the benefit outweighs the risk. There have been very few reported problems, but no real studies have been done to establish safety. As a fellow sinus sufferer....I would not use it. Afrin (oxymetazoline): That's is a long time! Any doctor will tell you not to do that... Now as a doctor I was in the same situation but I used it for 3 years ;/... Rebound withdrawal is horrible. Do this. Get an afrin (oxymetazoline) bottle a usually 30ml and add 30ml of boiled water. This will make it 50% strength. Use that for a week. Then add 60ml of water to a new bottle.
