Yes: If you've been exercising in that way through the whole pregnancy, there's no data to show that running/jogging in pregnancy is harmful. Most important is to stay super hydrated, as it's much easier to become dehydrated when you are pregnant. More potent medicine: Hi. A higher dose of metformin would help (1000 mg twice/day, AM & PM), but may not be enough. My favorite next drug would be a GLP-1 drug (liraglutide or eventide) or an SGLT2 inhibitor (canagliflozin or dapagliflozin) because they can be added to metformin without risking hypoglycemia.
