My friend has kidney stones and may have to have them surgically removed. Is it possible that the surgery could cause infertility?

What does it mean when you pee brown and it burns in men? My friend recently passed a kidney stone 4 days ago and his pee is brown as well it started burning when he pees. He's not sure what this means.
