Can a high fever for several days with no other symptoms be an MS exacerbation?

Can a high fever for several days with no other symptoms be an MS exacerbation?

Is low grade fever and swelling in ankle a symptom of ms?

It bears mentioning that ms does not cause fevers, and glad that has been excluded. Might seek help at an academic medical center. ...Read more

I have ms. Had chills for an hour with no fever. Happened before. Can chills come with ms? I have a small lesion in my brain stem that isn't active

Check for infection: Chills are more commonly associated with possible urinary tract infection or systemic infection. Have your doctor culture urine and maybe get chest x-ray. Also, perhaps get liver function testing, as rarely, Copaxone (glatiramer) could cause an immune hepatic problem. (additional advice, if not taking vitamin d-3 supplements, you should do so, about 5000 units twice daily). ...Read more
