Does not sound serio: Inflammation of the cervix is not uncommon but it is not serious. Pap is done to look for early Cervix Cancer. So a negative test for Cancer, means the test has done its primary job. If the abnormality is more severe it may require colposcopic examination, biopsy or conization.
