No drugs needed: I am a pediatrician in the US and we never use drugs like buscopan for belly pain in a child. I had to look it up. The most common reasons for belly pain in a 9 year old are 1. virus or too much sugar- crampy diarrhea or 2.not completely getting all the poop out. make sure you see his poops- if they are hard and he is not going every day then encourage more frequent sittings and relaxing. ...Read more
