Can A Baby Of One Year Old Drink Nesquik With Milk
Please don't: Theoretically, yes, if the nesquick/milk combination is not too thick. However, please don't feed your one-year old nesquick, or any other sugary food. Nesquick and other similar products have very little (if any) nutritional value, and just put the child at future risk of dental cavities and poor nutrition habits. When the child is older, sweet foods can be had occasionally as treats.See 1 more doctor answer
Why my baby toenail breaks? Knowing that breastfed only one year old and he eat well and doesn't want to drink milk thank you
Milk: Toenail breaks in an infant usually normal. A one year old does not need to drink milk if he is eating other dairy products.
1 year = time to:: 1) wean from bottle to 2 cups of whole milk with meals. Up to 5 oz. More of milk products is ok. Start a weighted, double-handled cup at 10 mos. & he'll hold it himself by 12 mos. 2) Brush his teeth 2x/day & before bed & have the 1st pediatric dentist visit. 3) Avoid ad-lib use of a Sippy cup with milk, juice or other sugars.4) Give water between meals. 5) Limit juice to 0-4 oz./day from a cupSee 1 more doctor answer
My daughter just turned one year old should I stop the formula and shift to regular whole milk? And how much milk should she be drinking per day (ml)?
Milk: It is recommended to switch to whole milk at one year. The recommended amount is 2 cups a day (to provide adequate vitamin d) but not much more. When kids are "milkaholics" they actually can become iron deficient. I'd shoot for 2 cups (16oz) per day and stop there. (in a cup - get rid of the bottles too.).
Can my one year old go without drinking milk? I'm weening him off breast milk but he rejects milk.
Yes, of course: Cow's milk is for cows. It is a mistake to think that this is the only source of calcium. He should be gradually introduced to table food, concentrating on fruit and vegetgables using junior food and graduating to family food.
One year old daughter crying for breast feed in night. Eats mild solids well. Not drinking bottle milk. Expects me always around her, else she cries?
Possible teething: She may be crying at night for another reason. At a year of age she is conceivably teething thereby giving her pain. Try giving her Ibuprofen or tylenol (acetaminophen) at bedtime and see if that soothes her. If you want to stop the night time feeds another thing you can try, is to let her cry it out. Go to her when wakes up, sooth her but don't pick her up. After 3-4 nights and you'll get your rest.
My one year old has a fever, runny nose, and a cough but she eats and play normally she just won't drink milk. What can this be?
Viral infection: Monitor her symptoms, they may resolve within a couple of days as they may be from a virus. Give her other fluids, water, rice milk or soy milk until she drinks the milk again, it may be too thick and bothers her throat.
My one year old just started drinking milk. He's fine with 2%. But when he drinks whole milk he got bad gas pains, loose stools and bad diaper rash.
My 1 year old sister has been having hard stool for almost a week. We gave her apple juice and tried to limit her intake of rice and milk. From there her stool went back to normal. I thought everything was fine so a day after I let her drink milk again. B
Give apple juice: I would recommend giving apple juice as needed to prevent hard stools and continue milk.
My 1 year old is drinking lactaid whole milk and she poops after drinking it the poop it a pale yellow color and sometimes runny and now she has a ras?
Call your doctor: It sounds like this is not agreeing with her---she maybe allergic to dairy. Call your doctor to discuss further.
What to do if I have a one year old baby. For last two days no milk is getting for her. If she suck too nothing coming?
Try whole milk: It sounds like time to use whole milk in a bottle. She should do well without breast milk at this age.
What to do if I have a one year old baby. For last two days no milk is getting for her. If she suck too nothing coming, what to do for this?
One year old: One year toddlers are generally eating table foods and are generally transitioned to whole milk at this age (as long as no milk allergy has been determined). If your breast milk supply had dwindled/disappeared then transition to whole milk would be your next step. If you have other concerns regarding your todler's feeding I would recommend speaking to your pediatrician for more recommendations
My 1 year old baby is formula-fed. Is it better to start giving her cow's milk instead? Which one is better for her: formula or cow milk?
Cows milk: You can begin feeding your one year old whole milk, but make sure it isn't two percent or skim milk. Your baby needs the cholesterol for nervous system development. Formula is more nutritious and it has added vitamins and other elements added to it to help babys development.See 1 more doctor answer
Our 1 year old baby was constioation from months now he is better but muther drink everyday one big cap of caffe n breastfeeding? Is it ok?
Breastfeeding: If you were breastfeeding your baby was not constipated as you think. Rather, breast fed babies can go several days without having a stool. Yes, one cup of coffee a day is fine.
How many ounces of breast milk or fomula is a 3 week old infant supposed to drink and how many hours apart?
Depends on weight: For an average weighted newborn at 3 weeks age, approximately 3 oz every 3hours or 3 1/2 oz every 4 hours would be appropriate.See 1 more doctor answer
I never would: The first 2 years are critical in brain formation and fat and cholesterol are necessary building blocks for brain formation. Failure to have enough access to these in the diet can cause impaired brain development. I never recommend a low fat diet or milk product until after age 2.
2% or whole: If your 2 yr old is nice and "soft", you can opt for 2%. If he is very thin, stick with whole milk. I don't recommend fat free milk for children under 5, as they need fat in their diet to absorb vitamins and grow properly. But make sure they are getting plenty of GOOD fat in foods (fish, avocado, olive oil) and other healthy foods before they load up on milk and get full!See 2 more doctor answers
My 1 year old sleep between 12 am to about 11 am and he still drinks milk from bottle before sleep and at 4 am and agian at 8 am is this ok?
A few things...: By the age of 1 yr children should be off the bottle completely. They should be able to go all night without requiring a nighttime feed. Your child should be good with normal daytime meals and perhaps a cup of milk before bed. I encourage parents to establish good bedtime routines. Bedtime around 8pm, sleep for a good 10 hrs.
