Can A 17 Yr Old Have A Stroke If So What Would Symptoms Be
I have a 17 yr old boy that has had ablation for SVT 2 years ago. Is it possible that it did not take? He is having fluutering shortness of breath, chest pains high blood pressure, fast heart rate.
Rare: Rare but possible. Congenital disease such as abnormal origin of coronary artery and hypertrophic ("thickened") heart disease can result in "heart attack". Inherited diseases that cause abnormal tissue can predispose to aneurysms and even dissections. Inflammatory diseases can also cause similar cardiovascular events. There are quite few possible origins for teenage heart and vascular disease.See 2 more doctor answers
What are the chances that a 17 yr old male who has persistent generalized lymphoadapthy with no other symptoms does not have anything sinister at all?
Needs to be checked: The odds it's not serious are reasonable, but the bad things it could be are really bad, & respond better if they get found early, so go get checked soon!See 1 more doctor answer
Rarely: Rarely young people die of heart attacks under extreme conditions such as military basic training or sports. Typically this results from congenital abnormalities of the heart though sometimes there's no good explanation. Cocaine use is also a strong risk factor for heart attacks in young people.See 1 more doctor answer
Absolutely not: This is primary amenorrhea and she needs a workup by a competent physician.
Maybe wait a little: Most 17 yr-olds are at a different emotional and cognitive maturity level than most 22 yr-olds, but a few 17 & 22 yr-olds could match up (that's one issue). Another issue is the legality of the dating. The law sees a 17 yr-old as a child, so a 22 yr-old may want to wait until the 17 yr-old is an adult. Also, at 17, one is finishing high school (much different from being a 22 yr-old college grad).See 2 more doctor answers
By going to a doctor: Unfortunately this is a diagnosis you cannot make on your own. Even an experienced doctor has to rely on a biopsy of the tumor tissue. However, generally a person with hodgkin's lymphoma has a large painless swelling usually in the neck or in the armpit. The person may run fever on and off, may lose weight, and may sweat a lot at night, but he may have none of these symptoms. See a doctor.

Eat healthy: Eat meals and follow a diet that is healthy but with a higher percentage of calories and carbohydrates that will let you slowly gain weight. More info needed: A single blood pressure reading is not diagnostic. Your upper number (systolic pressure) is elevated; lower number (diastolic) is fine. Many factors can affect blood pressure: stress, pain, smoking, even wrong size BP cuff. If BP is repeatedly elevated, pcp will begin treatment regimen. If this was machine reading, get BP checked by pcp or nurse or other reliable source.See 1 more doctor answer
Yes: The treatment would be surgical, not conservative as a 17 year old.
None: There is no typical size of a male penis, everyone has a different size or shape, the same like your height or weight or other physical attributes. Embrace what can't be changed!
