Can A 16 Year Old Take Creatine
Supplements are: usually nothing more than empty promises. Creatine swells the muscles with water but doesn't make you stronger. No magic product makes working out easier. If you train properly, stay consistent, stay hydrated, and eat properly (with balanced proteins), you will see results. Special products are just a way of getting your money by feeding on your desire for quick results. ...Read more

I'm a 53 year old female. Do you know if GNC mega vita-mom premium performance is a good vitamins for me and my 12 year old son to take?
Please clarify: I tired to look this up but could not find a vitamin with this name so please ask again with the correct name. I did check some GNC multivitamins and in general they have good ingredients but also have some toxic additives like titanium dioxide and sucralose that are unnecessary. Some vitamins are MUCH better than others- see https://www.multivitaminguide.org for independent ratings of 101 vits. ...Read more
Yes,but: Most are not needed if the child has a normal diet. I don't like the "candy" vitamin preparations & prefer the liquids until you can have a conversation with the kid & warn them about taking "medicines" that are not theirs. Many a kid whose stomach i had pumped out told me they found their candy vitamin in the ladies purse. ...Read more
Yes, but be aware: Creatine is used by athletes to build up muscle mass. Use of it seems harmless but doubts still remain. Mayo clinic has mentioned that it may be associated with asthma in those allergic to it. Some have mentioned that it may cause kidney and liver damage. But not proven. Best would be to be moderate in its use as even good things in excess can be harmful. Look it up on Wikipedia for more info. ...Read more

I am a 23 year old male and want to take a light pro hormone in a safe way for bodybuilding called hexadrole. What are the dangers?
No way to tell : Unfortunately, dietary supplements are regulated as foods (as opposed to drugs). As such, they are not required to undergo the same testing (or prove their claims to be true). Also, since no third party testing of their product is required - the ingredients listed don't even have to match what is in the bottle. Wish I had a better answer ... Good luck! ...Read more

It depends...: This depends a lot on what your diet is like, exposure to environmental toxins, genetics etc. Vitamins are no substitute for a healthy diet, but for most i advise a quality multivitamin, ideally with natural e (avoid synthetic e) & the 5-mthf form of folate, (folic acid) without additives like titanium dioxide or polyethylene glycol.Additional vit. C, about 1, 000 mg 2x/day is wise too, as well as d.See comment:. ...Read more
Depends: The weight range for a 13 yo runs 75-150 lb so dosing by weight is quite difficult without knowing the kids weight. The average kid at ~100 lb could easily handle 400mg every 6 hours as needed.I would not go any higher unless directed by a physician . Any kid with kidney function problems should check with their physician before using this product. ...Read more
I have some 10,000mcg biotin tablets which i bought is it okay to take them i am a 16 year old female.
Yes. However...: It is perfectly safe to take 10,000 mcg of biotin. That sounds like a lot, but it is the same as 10 mg. There is no known toxicity of biotin but that's a much higher amount than most people need so I wonder why you want to take it. Biotin deficiency is rare. Those who are deficient may lose hair but if not deficient it doesn't help hair. High doses may help diabetes.See http://tinyurl.com/p9rob63 ...Read more
