I use hydrogen peroxide to clean and qtips to take out the wax . I know its bad to use qtips. My ear hurts, I use h.P.To see if there is wax but none.
Stop with the qtips: No fingers or bobby pins either. You have probably given yourself "eczematous otitis externa". You need wax to help waterproof the ear, prevent itching, and to be a natural antibiotic and antifungal. No more than 2x a month qtips for you. Ear Wax: Products like Murine, Auro & Debrox contain Carbamide Peroxide. They are made to clean ears. Low concentrations of hydrogen peroxide are sometimes used to loosen wax before it's removal.
