May need more tests.: X-rays of the spine are useless unless there is a history of trauma. Vitamin tests do no tell you about your pains. Need more info. Did this occur after an injury, or change in activity? Are there bruises? Do you have corresponding tingling and numbness? Stretching: You need to stretch so whatever means you can achieve this will help. As your calf tries to heal it will generate scar. You want to keep this as stretched out as possible in this time so as to not keep tearing thru stiff scar tissue.
