Leg pain: vascular?: Deep vein thromotic lesions are more serious but less common than superficial vein thrombi. I have a grape size hard (ish) lump at the top of my calf muscle, just below the knee. It hurts to walk on, and clicks when I go upstairs. DVT?

Do I have dvt? Calf muscle was randomly sore 3 days ago the soreness is gone but weird sensations linger. Tight, full, cold foot, pulsing.
Diff between non occlusive thrombus and dvt? What can cause random blood clot? No family hist that I know of. Can a really bad muscle strain cause it?

Clot is caused by poor blood flow (stasis) damage to the vein lining (trauma) and/or an abnormal ability to make clot which can result from a clotting factor problem (hereditary). Muscle strain can cause clot, typically in arm veins in athletes/weight-lifters. ...Read moreSee 2 more doctor answers

Normal it is not!!:
I am sure you must injured the shin, when you fell or whichever way you injured your calf. Our brains register only the worst injured (or more painful) part first, while the lesser injured part still hurts or becomes obvious later.
Your examining Doc can certainly reassure you that you most likely injured the shin as well. Check with him/her.
