You should be seen -: by your PCP so he can do a test for gout and also get an Xray, to confirm whats going on. The Tendonitis can be bothersome in some people, but they do getter better eventually. If pain meds like NSAIDs are used + therapy to stretch the tissues, a brace are not helping; then PRP shot maybe helpful. In a very small number of patients, surgery is an options after all other modalities are exhausted. ...Read more

When I try to do pushups, I feel a sharp pain in my elbows and shoulders like they are on the verge of breaking, is this a calcium deficiency?

Intense shoulder pain travelling down arm, had bloods taken, checking for diabetes and calcium? What could be causing the pain?

Neck or shoulder: Pain radiating down the arm may be caused by nerve compression in the cervical spine (neck). This will often be a shooting , electric sensation to the wrist or fingers.
Pathology from the shoulder may also radiate down the arm, usually to the elbow, and is provoked by movement of the shoulder joint.
Mri or EMG studies would help to diagnose. ...Read more

Pregnant sister feels pain on both arm. Is this just a tiredness or an indication of something more serious like deficiency of calcium maybe ?

Not sure.: Would need to know more about her pain in order to answer, but generally deficiency of calcium or any electrolyte for that matter would be very low on the list of concerns. This is likely musculoskeletal and related to the pregnancy ( abnormal posture and arm carry and potential effects of Progesterone on ligaments). ...Read more

Could lack of calcium in our body causes pain near our shoulder , arm , neck , legs etc..?

Probably not: Llow calcium, or hypocalcemia, can produce tingling (pins/needles), usually in the face/lips, hands and feet. It can also cause tetany (delayed but persisting spasm) especially of facial muscles but does not cause widespread muscle or joint pain.
More importantly, it can cause cardiac arrhythmia (which can kill you). ...Read more

Had tests in feb2014: stressecho, ecg, echo all normal; calcium score 0.5; chest xray normal. Bp130/80, nape pain and left arm tingling. Cardiac still?

Cardiac Enzymes?: With the tests done that you are reporting the only thing I'd like to know to really take your symptoms out of the territory of the heart would be cardiac enzymes and the results of a 12 lead EKG. If those 2 things are normal then, any ongoing symptoms of left arm sensations would be extremely unlikely to be related to cardiac ischemia...especially if it is ongoing, 24/7 as opposed to episodic. ...Read more
