My mom bought me a calcium supplement and at nutrition facts it says that it has 148 mg of carbs and 27 mg of fat.Can this be true?
I am not sure if: we can answer this. Usually we need to know what the product is to research it. In this case - if it is from Romania - we might not be able to research it here in America. ...Read more
How much gap betwen antacid & B12 sublingual 1500mcg. can we take multivit, calcium carb(500mg) same time as B12 supp? how much gap for vit c & b12?
Wouldn't take: antacid at the same time you are taking your supplements b/c you are reducing UR stomach acidity further that you need that to digest or help your MVI (multivitamin) get absorbed better. B12 can be taken alone sublingual. It's not digested. You can take it along with your MVI (multivitamin), and Vitamin C. Space your calcium tablet separately as it can act like an antacid itself (Tums?) Greens can interfere with Ca absorption. ...Read more

Pyruvate healthier: Research on the weight loss benefits of both is limited, but some studies suggest potential hazards of cla so i'd choose pyruvate- see http://www.Med.Nyu.Edu/content?Chunkiid=21676 ; http://www.Med.Nyu.Edu/content?Chunkiid=21633 the key to weight loss is not supplements but long term diet changes (like http://bit.Ly/1dhw9ht). So confused: does anybody know if Fosamax (alendronate) or calcium is the same thing or if I should take both if different medications?
Yes.: They can significantly lower the amount of thyroid hormone that gets absorbed. Because calcium is a positively charged ion, it can bind to any negatively charged chemical, including levothyroxine. Spacing the thyroid hormone at least 2 hours from calcium (including antacids such as tums), iron, multi-vitamins, and certain other meds can help keep thyroid blood levels stable. ...Read more

Osteopenia: Calcium is commonly not an issue as dietary calcium is often sufficient with most people's daily dietary intake.
