Yes: Too much caffeine at one time can introduce a variety of symptoms including increased anxiety and changes in mood. I would consider decreasing your exposure to caffeine to see if that helps although you may have to do it incrementally due to the effects of caffeine withdrawal if you were to stop completely. ...Read more

Check with pcp: Best not to self-medicate. Caffeine is a stimulant that may be triggering anxiety ---> nausea. Have your pcp check for any underlying cause of nausea. Meanwhile, avoid caffeine and try to reduce your stress: eg, deep breathing, exercise, write down what triggers anxiety. Counseling with a therapist for stress reduction may be helpful. Camomile is calming: Sorry you had a caffeine attack. Camomile is touted as a calming agent and is used to relax before sleep. Some of the dried teas have mold and that might be what you reacted to. Uncontrolled anxiety: You already know the answer. You have to cut out the caffeine. It is making it impossible for you to sleep, which causes ongoing fatigue.
