My son was born with one small (.4cm) cafe au lait spot. He is 5 months now and i think i see another small one. Is this likely nf1?

Spot on stomach for 2+ yrs looked similar to that of cafe au lait spot but has grown to 1in & since turned pink instead of tan. New slightly dry feel.

Tender cafe au lait: these as small flat pigmented birthmarks. they are sometimes (if more than 6 and larger than 5 mm before puberty) a sign of neurofibromatosis and needs to be checked. Assuming this isnt the case - i think its benign and nothing to worry about - I suspect your pain may be coming from the nipple - perhaps from excessive irritation from your bra.
