Duodenal ulcers are: Caused by bacteria. So if you know you have one, no diet is going to help unless you get rid these bacteria. If all you have is indigestion, then you can try different diet. I never drink orange juice but decided to have a small drink yesterday, it burned my stomach so bad and now it's hurts so bad. Is that a ulcer?
Orange juice: contains citric acid but it is not strong enough to "burn" unless you have gastritis (generalized inflammation) A gastric ulcer is unlikely to have been "silent" until the range juice!!!! Stop it: Stop applying lemon juice and soda and bleach to your face! it's creating a chemical reaction which is irritating the sensitive skin on you face. Is frozen purple grape juice, apple juice and peppermint tea ok to drink for ulcer. Ipeppermint tea seems to calm tummy but some say bad for ulcer?
Probably OK: I see no problem with grape and apple juice, though i strongly recommend organic juices as both conventional grapes and apples are high in pesticides. The only reference i found re: ulcers says it should not be used in stomach ulcers because it lowers esophageal sphincter pressure, but i don't see why that would be bad for an ulcer. Is it ok to drink something acidic like orange juice after a meal if u have a stomach ulcer ? Would the food act as a barrier ie protect the lining
OK IF YOU ARE TREATE: Even though orange juice is very acidic and is adviced not to be consumed if you have peptic ulcer, but if you are being treated with antibiotics for h pylori which causes the ulcer and you have finished the two weeks course and are taking proton pump inhibiters to suppress the acid production in your stomach, you may be able to tolerate orange juice or you can get low acidity orange juice. ...Read more

If : If your ulcer is caused by a bacteria called h. Pylori then you will need an extended course of multiple antibiotics to erradicate the bacteria. You will also need a medication called omeprazole, this will help decrease the acid in your stomach so further damage is not done. Allergy: It appears you are having an allergic reaction to the cabbage. I recommend you stop eating cabbage and see your doctor for an examination.
