Duodenal ulcers are: Caused by bacteria. So if you know you have one, no diet is going to help unless you get rid these bacteria. If all you have is indigestion, then you can try different diet. But cabbage, celery and apple juice are probably not going to help your digestion. Try taking Prilosec or prevacid, alternatively zantac (ranitidine) or tagamet. It could be: From the beets, as this is known to cause dark stools. This should go away as you pass out more stools. See your dr if any symptoms develop or this persist. Stay away from beet juice in the meantime so it clears up. ...Read more

I never drink orange juice but decided to have a small drink yesterday, it burned my stomach so bad and now it's hurts so bad. Is that a ulcer?

Orange juice: contains citric acid but it is not strong enough to "burn" unless you have gastritis (generalized inflammation) A gastric ulcer is unlikely to have been "silent" until the range juice!!!! Stop it: Stop applying lemon juice and soda and bleach to your face! it's creating a chemical reaction which is irritating the sensitive skin on you face.
