Tickly tingly feeling in left groin. Really noticeable when laying down. Buzz buzz buzz feeling in leg of and on. Really annoying! Nerve?

Yes.: If it goes away on its own by tomorrow you have nothing to look into. I'd avoid scratching or relations until you know. One possibility is herpes. It often starts this way. In any event in order to have this sensation you would have to have something irritating a pain sensitive structure. If it is there tomorrow have it checked out. No need to worry yourself now. Try not to scratch it. ...Read more

Tingling, tickling, buzzing, throughout left leg with twitches and pinch feelings. Had chiropractor adjustment last week. Could it be nerve?

Could be: It certainly could be a herniated disc causing lumbar radiculopathy.

A formal exam by a pm;r doctor or other spine specialist could help to determine if that is true lumbar radiculopathy or something else mimicing it (piriformis syndrome with sciatica for instance). ...Read more

I sometimes a squirting, bubbling, buzzing feeling under my skin in my thigh muscles, no pain just worrisome, any ideas?

Maybe: I love the Irish, they have such a way with words. This is SPECULATION, now, so don't jump to any conclusions. It may be very mild irritation of the lateral femoral cutaneous nerve, which can occur on both sides at the same time. The irritation occurs in the groin. At least you can discuss that as a possibility with your doctor. Electrodiagnostic testing in such cases is usually normal. ...Read more

Should I be losing feeling and mobility in my leg if I sit cross legged for like 20 minutes??

It sure can happen.: ...Putting pressure on a nerve for 20+ minutes can cause the affected limb to essentially "go to sleep." When you take the pressure off of the nerve, those symptoms should go away promptly. Sometimes, people feel a tingling or pins & needles sensation as the nerve "wakes up." If it persists or occurs in situations that shouldn't cause these symptoms, please see a doctor! Dr. Anne ...Read more

I had nerves removed from my leg. Will I ever have feeling in my leg and will my nerves ever regenerate?

Sometimes: Nerves have an amazing ability to regenerate but whether they will in a given situation is unpredictable. You do have to be careful about injuries in this area, because you do not have sensation to protect you. ...Read more

I had nerves removed from my leg. Will I ever have feeling in my leg again, and will the nerves regenerate?

I had nerves removed from my leg. Will I ever have feeling in my leg again, and will the nerves regenerate?

To an extent: It takes a long time for the nerves to re-sprout. A percentage of the nerve fibers can find there way back to where they belong. Other nerves will take over part of the territory. If you are left with a small area of numbness it is often barely noticeable. The whole process takes months to years. The healing process is complex and may require slow re-growth from the dorsal root ganglia ...Read more

Today, I kept feeling a tickle along the lower inside calve of my leg, off and on today I'd swat and nothings there. What is this? Nevr happnd before

A nerve thing: Skin nerves will sometimes do this. It's like a temporary hypersensitivity issue. It's usually not a problem unless it persists, worsens, or is associated with other symptoms (swelling of leg, changes to skin/rash). You don't appear to have any underlying conditions that would contribute to nerve problems. ...Read more

Is feeling leg pain normal during a lunging sprint?

Yes: If it lasts a short while. In my opinion, any tissue/muscle that is stretched beyond its usual capacity, will cause some pain/discomfort, which should not last more than 36-48 hours (unless you stretch it much over it capacity & causing a pulled muscle), then it would for few weeks.
Keep exercising to stretch till that limit, then over a time, its capacity would increase and pain would not occur. ...Read more

For over a year, I get an itchy feeling in my leg whenever I stand in one place for over a minute. Thoughts?

Itch: Since itch is a relative of pain, this symptom may be caused by some impingement or pinching of a nerve when you're putting weight on that leg. If there are no other symptoms it may not be worthwhile to investigate this symptom at this time, but if you wish to, I'd recommend an evaluation by a neurologist. ...Read more
