Not chikungunya: This is totally unrelated to chikungunya and is a separate problem. It's a bit hard to tell from the pic but it could be a 'Staph boil' or possibly an STD if you've been having unsafe sex. Sometimes the condom doesn't cover the 'whole area' so what's not covered could, in theory, get infected. More than 1 problem: Sorry about your pain. Sounds like there are at least 2 problems superimposing on each other. The buttock and hip pain could be from sciatica or a pinched nerve in your back. Severe knee swelling is not seen with these and likely due to an isolated problem that needs to be investigated and treated. Sounds like hip prob: With that pain pattern 1 would think of hip. This is especially true if there was no injury. If it came on due 2 a strain or injury it could b muscle, but the weight bearing seems 2 point 2 the hip especially if u have the pain just standing & not trying 2 move.
