C an ortho: many times this type of fall bruises the greater trochanter, and U can develop trochanteric bursitis, which hurts when U walk, sleep on the injured side, & also up stairs. if U R thin, U can palpate over the trochanter & C if it is the cause. Possible: Not knowing what type of tumor she had to start with makes it very difficult to state whether it could be a recurrence. Some types of tumors, for instance the tumors associated with tuberous sclerosis, frequently recur and/or new ones appear. This is a question best asked to the doctors who dealt with her last year. Watchful waiting: What you described is not worrisome, however it is worth watching, i.e, keep an eye on such lesions to see if more are developing. At your next visit to your doctor you should ask her/him to look at the lesions, if any are present at the time. For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, low fat milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. Practice safe sex. ...Read more
