Don't be on your : side, sleep on your back and ice the region and/or take OTC NSAID if no medical reasons why not to use those types of meds. Stretching wo hrlp too but the hard bunk in terms of being on that side is what you need to adjust. ...Read more

Anti-inflammatory: You probably got an injection of a mixture of a synthetic cortisone such as celestone (betamethasone) and a local anesthetic. There is usually no general effect. If you are diabetic then your blood sugar may be affected. The area can be more painful for a short while, but the pain from the injection and from the bursitis will probably subside over a few days. Ouch!: I am so sorry this happened - it is a rare complication, but as you well know, is very painful. Unfortunately, if you are still having symptoms 15 months out, it is likely this will be a chronic problem, including with future pregnancies.It's not like you can easily put your pelvis in a cast and let it heal. Physical therapy may help, as well as biofeedback techniques to try and put mind over pain. ...Read more
