Concerned: Although the symptoms are consistent with gastritis/ esophagitis, i still think you need an evaluation by a physician urgently. At 62, this still could be a presentation for a heart related problem. In the meantime, start taking over the counter antacids like tums (calcium carbonate). Woke up this morning with bloating, horrible gas loose stooand burping a weird taste. Threw up a few hours later and had undigested veggies and food.
