Burping And Green Bile
Bile: A viral infection or food poisoning may be the cause. Green stool is usually caused by rapid transit time in the gut, which can happen when an infection makes the gut mucosa more permeable to water or prevents absorption of your intake. Bile refluxing from the duodenum is enough to make vomit green. Hope you're feeling better -- if this is clearly not a mild self-limited illness, get seen. ...Read more
Increase in stomach noises, stomach cramps and diarrhea after eating at times. stool color from brown to yellow and green.
Hi I have reflux, gastritis, lots of gas and intestinal rumbling followed with dark green loose stool that's foul smelling. Is this ibs? if not help!?
Not irritable bowel: Reflux isn't IBS, gastitis is inflammation of the stomach. Foul-smelling stools sometimes mean gastroenteritis or malabsorption. Sounds like it is time for a GI specialist or at least a visit to your usual physician for stool studies if the problem continues and even a gluten sensitivity panel with a later GI referral. irritable bowel synd is a diagnosis of exclusion, although real and painful. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
Hard stomach on right side of navel.throwing up yellow green acid with undigested food from hrs before. Extreme waves of nausea. Mby intestinal block?
Dark green diarrhea and queasy feeling in stomach. Also vomited large amounts of yellow fluid (just fluid) this morning. No change to eating/drinking?
Gastroenteritis: Sounds like you have gastroenteritis. If it gets to the point where you are unable to keep fluids down, you will likely have to go to the ER to get medications and some fluids into you. I would switch to Gatorade to help you with your electrolytes that you are likely losing and hopefully it will pass in the next 12-24 hours and decrease in severity. If it doesn't, go to the ER for further eval. ...Read more

Yellow GI fluids: Both the yellow diarrhea and the yellow bile color in vomitus are due to the same chemical, bile, which is produced by the liver. Normally you never see it in the stomach because normal eating keeps it moving down the GI tract. But when you vomit, and if you're stomach has no food, then all there is to see is the bile. When you're not eating regularly, the same bile will make your stool yellow. ...Read more
My 16 year old is having liquid bile like diarrea, stomach discomfort, belching over and over, passing gas, and acid reflux? Gall bladder
Nope: The hallmark of gb disease is severe attacks of upper-middle or upper-right abdominal pain. Your son should be seen by his pediatrician to work-up possible causes of his diarrhea. This can include dietary issues, infections, irritable bowel, or even inflammatory bowel disease (rarely). If they can't get to the bottom of it, they will likely refer him to a GI specialist. Good luck. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
Im experiencing constant watery green diarrhea, frequent burping that taste like rotten eggs, abdominal bloating and gas, all after eating a burger.
GERD: You may have gastroesophogeal reflux disease (gerd), with an upset stomach as well. Certainly avoid trigger foods high in fat-like the burger and try increasing fluids and taking an over the counter acid blocking medications such as Prilosec with maalox. Eventually, this is a warning sign that you need a good GI evaluation to get properly diagnosed. Best wishes. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
Abdominal pains, chills, migraines and now vomitting. The stool and vomit are green and very foul smelling.. Help!
Lots of gas, bloating and green stools. Am taking a multi vitamin, the occasional antacid and codfish oil. Could these be causing the green stools?
Yes: Codfish oil(cod liver oil) can speed up the transit of food thru the gastrointestinal tract if taken in too high a dose. Bile is green in color. As it travels thru the gut it's color is changed, eventually to brown. Greenish color can be the result of intestinal contents not remaining in the gut long enough to turn brown. Should return to normal color if codfish oil is stopped. SEE:abt.cm/144EnVu ...Read moreSee 3 more doctor answers
