No, but why?: No, it will not damage the esophagus and it will not cause cancer. However, it is not normal to burp every hour and it must be extremelly uncomfortable for you. What's the signs of esophageal cancer and lung cancer. What's the chances I may have it. Main probs r spitting up little blood and constant burping?
GI symptoms: How much a "little blood" actually is depends on many things. Simple tests can detect larger blood loss, usually not the case in the youngster. The source of the blood in a young patient is important. Is it teeth, gums, sinuses, or is it further down the line, like esophagus or stomach? A good exam and a stool blood exam is also in order. ...Read more

I get heartburns randomly, I burp a lot, and sometimes feel nauseous. But no stomach pain or passing out black tarry stools. Is it cancer? I'm scared.
Don't worry!: What you're describing sounds like heartburn, also called acid reflux. Keep a diary of food you eat before you have these symptoms. You may have an intolerance to lactose, or gluten. Spicy foods, fruit juices, chocolate, alcohol, and tobacco all contribute to symptoms of heartburn. You could try an over-the-counter antacid to see if that helps. But given your age, cancer is not a concern. ...Read more

Chances of it being overian cancer? I burp alot like all day, bloated with gas. Blood in stool. Ct scan disteded abdomen I'm 22 years old. #scared
Need to examine:
How do you know that there is blood in stool. If you saw blood or stool tested positive for blood, you ought consult your doctor. It is not feasible to provide a meaningful opinion without taking additional history, physical examination and may be some tests. It would be prudent to see your doctor and discuss if you may be depressed. Counter-intuitive as it may seem, exercise may help. Start with low intensity exercise such as walking and gradually increase the intensity at tolerated. Wish you good health! - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Drink enough water daily, so that your urine is mostly colorless. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form.
