I applied strong burning cologne to my scrotum after shaving. 2 months later it is still red. Is this dangerous and what can I apply?
Local irritation: Sounds like a localized reaction. You can try a topical, mild over the counter steroid cream if the area is itchy and rd, but even a mild less potent steroid may be "burning" to the area. Best to get it evaluated by derm to assure the proper diagnosis is obtained. Good luck. ...Read more

Competitive cyclists can have this happen to the pudendal nerve after prolonged cycling, causing scrotal/penile symptoms. Silvadene (silver sulfadiazine) 1% (sulfadiazine) creme if you can get it OTC. See your doctor if it does not improve in the next few hours. Go to the ER if the pain or redness is unbearable or extreme. Baby soap next time. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
