Likely just muscle.: Physical therapy for rotator cuff is a mainstay of therapy for this. With stretching and exercise the other muscles and tendons of the shoulder joint will become strengthened and stretched. These muscles are likely not used to this at this point and so will become sore and burn as Lactic Acid builds up in them. The best thing to do is to keep up with the pt. ...Read more

Increase or switch: Gabapentin 1200mg three times a day there are othe rpharmacologic options for neuropathic pain, including lyrica, (pregabalin) tegretal and elavil. Other options exist which you can discuss with your physician. Good luck. ...Read more

Im having pain in my left deltoid area continious numbness & tingling in finger 3, 2, & 1. I had an mri, no torn rotator cuff or acoromin issue. ?

Check neck: Could be from the shoulder or referred. Common referred sources include: abdomen, heart and neck. Shoulder sources include: arthritis, labral tears, instability, tendinitis, rotator cuff tears, bursitis, painful bony spurs etc. Shoulder blade pain can be from the neck or bursitis around the blade.
