Unlikely: Eosinophililc esophagitis (EoE) symptoms include food impaction, with persistent trouble swallowing, abdominal pain, vomiting, or heartburn that fails to respond to medical therapy. Burning/tingling sensations not typical symptoms. Iron is not absorbed in the esophagus so unlikely culprit as well. See allergist for further workup and evaluation including testing directed elimination diet. ...Read more

Hours: & feel like days... Benadryl and Pepcid (famotidine) (both together, generic ok) can help reduce the skin sensation, but it will have to run its course. Unfortunately you have proven yourself to be one of the sun-reactive people to doxy. ...Read more

Diabetic: neuropathy ( burning. tingling , numbness ) is a consequence of poorly controlled blood sugars and may require life long therapy. According to the numbers stated your blood sugars are very poorly controlled. See an endocrinologist-asap. ...Read more

Thoracic Outlet Sx: 52y fem c/o R Superior trapezius spasm & right upper extremity paresthesias & "cold". Right shoulder hemi-girdle muscle spasm & dysfunction likely causing R brachial neurovascular bundle impingement, i.e., Thoracic Outlet Syndrome, TOS, symptoms. How long?: It is really based on the severity of your symptoms and how long you have had them. If your pain is traveling down the arm from the neck to the hand then this could represent nerve compression known as radiculopathy. These symptoms usually resolve over time with conservative care and therapy. If symptoms have lasted more than a week or two, then go visit your Doc. ...Read more
