Burning Sternum Pain When Exercising
Occassional burning pain near sternum while lying down if i move wrong (usually turning slightly). Subsides if i relax a minute. Any ideas?

Chest pain: chest pain with no other symptoms could be nothing or could be serious. Do you have a risk factor for heart disease like high blood pressure, diabetes, high cholesterol, nicotine use or family history ? Do you lift heavy weights? Any history of anxiety? Sudden onset burning sensation right under sternum. I was cleaning dishes when it started, I ate about 2 hours ago, pain goes away upon sitting still?
Couple of things: This could be from pulling a muscle in between your ribs or it may be reflux disease due to what you ate for lunch. Try Tylenol (acetaminophen) or ibuprofen and see if it goes away. Likely esoph reflux: Duration of symptoms? Minutes, hours, days?At age 23 unlikely to have a cardiac cause. No use of street drugs, cocaine, excess energy drinks?
