Anxiety: Chest pain from anxiety is usually located over the heart and described as sharp pain. The pain usually increases when you breathe, but it doesn’t tend to continue more than a few minutes. Chest pain: chest pain with no other symptoms could be nothing or could be serious. Do you have a risk factor for heart disease like high blood pressure, diabetes, high cholesterol, nicotine use or family history ? Do you lift heavy weights? Any history of anxiety? Any heartburn or trouble with spicy or acidic foods. You can try over the counter treatment with something like Prilosec OTC for a week. see a dr ...Read more

Couple of things: This could be from pulling a muscle in between your ribs or it may be reflux disease due to what you ate for lunch. Try Tylenol (acetaminophen) or ibuprofen and see if it goes away. If it is reflux it will happen again and then you can seek advice on treatment. If you experience shortness of breath you may need to be seen at the ER. ...Read more

Likely esoph reflux: Duration of symptoms? Minutes, hours, days?At age 23 unlikely to have a cardiac cause. No use of street drugs, cocaine, excess energy drinks? More likely to be reflux of stomach content into esophagus. No sweats, short of breath, nausea, lightheadedness? More likely esoph related. Any of the above? Call/see md asap. ...Read more
