Couple of things: This could be from pulling a muscle in between your ribs or it may be reflux disease due to what you ate for lunch. Try Tylenol (acetaminophen) or ibuprofen and see if it goes away. If it is reflux it will happen again and then you can seek advice on treatment. If you experience shortness of breath you may need to be seen at the ER. ...Read more

?: Dear, it is impossible to tell based on your description. Many musculoskeletal, skin, or neuropathic conditions can cause these funky, hard to describe pains in different areas. Breast cancer (which is what most would be worried about) seems unlikely but even then, it is impossible to say much without an exam. Unknown for sure: Many of my patients who have angioplasty have mild discomfort after angioplasty for a month. Usually it doesn't last much longer than that though. I think it is from the stent stretching out the artery. Here is a link:
