Neuropathy: Sounds like the onset of a peripheral neuropathy which can be related to underlying diseases, spinal cord arthritic changes with pressure on nerve endings, or spinal cord lesions themselves. Get seen?: Based on your description, I think your intuitive diagnosis is probably correct. These are likely form of Wart. Other possible diagnosis are much less likely as they occur on palmar surfaces.
