Sounds like hives: Urticaria, hives, are caused by exposure to something the body responds to in an allergic response. Pink raised areas that blanch when pressed, itchy is a typical hive. Ulnar nerves: Commonest cause of this is ulnar nerve compression at the elbow. Although most of the symptoms will be experienced in forearm and hands, some symptoms may be noted in upper arms. If the funny bone is tender to the touch this is the most likely case. Don't lean on your elbows. If elbows are swollen or red, get them examined.
