TO KNIFE A NAIL BED: Sounds like a repeat procedure may be coming, especially if there is some toe nail left. But in situations like these, patients have best results when doing warm water soak 3 times/day, otherwise ensure area is clean & dry, give it plenty of exposure to air, & daily bandage changes (youtube instructions on best bandaging, almost all videos with over 50k views are reliable) ...Read more

Possible but...: Anxiety can produce tingling, numbness, and other uncomfortable sensations. The burning pain you describe is not the most typical for anxiety and you need to have a physician rule out problems in your cervical spine, neck and upper back muscles, and occipital nerves. ...Read more

Might have: Biliary dyskinesia where the gallbladder functions poorly. Are your symptoms related to eating or is it just a random occurrence? Review your tests with the doctor who ordered them to see if you should have a referral to a gastroenterologist or if a referral to a general surgeon is indicated.
