Acid reflux: Alcohol stimulates acid production n the stomach and slows down the movement of the esophagus and stomach. Your problem is thus more likely from acid reflux which cannot be picked up with ultrasound. Can't tell what may be causing your rash or joint pain and suggest that you consult your doctor. ...Read more

Maybe...: Not enough information to confirm your liver concern, however discomfort as described is not to be ignored--its a warning sign that something may be wrong inside your abdomen. Could be anything: Though 100mg of aspirin is a very low dose, I would certainly check it out with your physician. Some people are more sensitive to aspirin's stomach effects than others. Good Luck ...Read more

Rib pain: Pain in the area you describe could be heartburn especially if you were asleep. Reflux can make the acid go up you esophagus and once you sat up, it went back down. It it was sharp, occsionally we can get an inflammation of the rib(s) where the bone and cartilage join called costochondritis. Medications such as Motrin or Aleve (naproxen) taken for several days should help this. ...Read more
